Job Title: Mental Health Specialist Dietitian

We are seeking a skilled and motivated dietitian to join our team in providing specialist services for community learning disabilities, mental health in-patients, and mental health community outreach within Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust (BDCFT).

As a dietitian in this role, you will be employed by Bradford Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (BTHFT) and work fully embedded within BDCFT, with access to the support and expertise of fantastic teams across two organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dietetic services to learning disability and mental health services
  • Work with inpatients and outpatients at Lynfield Mount Hospital, St Lukes Hospital, and other dietetic services or community locations
  • Participate in the training of 'B' and 'C' Placement student dietitians
  • Travel regularly between work sites across Bradford and Airedale

Requirements:

  • Registered dietitian with a passion for working in learning disabilities and mental health
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to travel between work sites
