About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Mulligans Hemel Hempstead. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the centre, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre, including opening and closing procedures, health and safety checks, and compliance with company standards.
  • Lead a team of staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent customer service and high standards of performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Manage enquiries, including telephone calls, emails, and social media, and respond to customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.
Requirements
  • 1 year's experience in a people management role, preferably in a leisure or hospitality environment.
  • 1 year's experience in a venue management role, with a focus on customer service and operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
