About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Mulligans Hemel Hempstead. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the centre, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre, including opening and closing procedures, health and safety checks, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Lead a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent customer service and meet our high standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Manage enquiries, including telephone calls, emails, and social media, and respond to customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Work closely with the Assistant General Manager/General Manager to achieve business objectives and contribute to the development of the centre.
Requirements
  • 1 year's experience in a people management role, preferably in a leisure or hospitality environment.
  • 1 year's experience in a venue management role, preferably in a leisure or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions and take ownership of issues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
