About the Role:

The DAS UK Group has an exciting opportunity for an ATE Technical Underwriter to join our Underwriting department on a Fixed-Term basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the ATE Underwriting Manager in monitoring products and their performance.
  • Identify areas where underwriting and claims practice could be improved to benefit the customer and deliver a plan to implement improvements and project changes.
  • Provide valuable information around underwriting and claims performance and oversee complex or high-risk underwriting and claims referrals.
  • Escalate key decisions and referrals outside of authority limits for Trading underwriters and ATE Operations.
  • Provide technical guidance during product development and management, taking ownership of technical content for policy wordings.

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of ATE insurance.
  • Ability to work at pace while maintaining an accurate, high-quality output.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
