About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at United Living Group. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality management information to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and accurate management information to support business decision-making.
  • Support the delivery of a reliable management accounting service to the business, ensuring all internal and external accounting and reporting requirements are met.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including month-end reporting packs and bi-weekly cash flow forecasts.
  • Support the Financial Controller in various tasks, including project accounting, journal preparation, and contract accounting.
  • Contribute to the development of ERP/IT systems and ensure accurate costing and labour allocations.
  • Assist with budgeting and re-forecasting, as well as supporting tenders and business planning.
  • Perform ageing WIP analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Document support processes and procedures, and ensure full VAT and CIS compliance.
Requirements
  • Interest in and experience in commercial/project accounting and management reporting.
  • Genuine desire to work across disciplines (Commercial, Construction & Group Finance).
  • Ability to work as part of a team, but also confident to operate in a sole capacity.
  • Studying towards a recognized Finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA).
  • Accurate and numerate, with high computer literacy, including Advanced Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience operating variants of Microsoft Dynamics NAV platforms.
  • Knowledge of JET reporting.
  • Relevant industry or PE experience.
  • Experience of change management – introduction of new systems and processes.
Working Arrangements

This role will be based in our Swanley office, with occasional travel to other Property Services offices. You will be required to comply with our current homeworking rules.
