Overview

We are seeking a dynamic individual renowned for their outstanding organisational capabilities, who is passionate about providing top-notch support to join our team as a Co-ordinator of Business Services. A full UK driving license is essential for this position. Please be aware that weekend work on a rota basis will be required.

Work Environment

Reporting to the property operations manager, you will be an integral part of the property leadership team, collaborating with department heads across various areas including Welcome, Gardens, Rangers, Collections, and Programming.

This role is based at a property that serves as a working estate with visitor facilities located at multiple sites. Our visitor numbers have seen significant growth in recent years, making us one of the most frequented sites in the region.

Key Responsibilities

In your role, you will support daily operations and will be proficient in using a variety of IT applications while working within a bustling team environment. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of support services, including financial reporting, volunteer coordination, and administrative tasks, ensuring compliance reporting is maintained, and producing signage and interpretative materials. You will also manage the accounting and processing related to our car parks. As part of a dedicated team, your involvement will be crucial in ensuring our visitors enjoy an exceptional experience.

You will supervise a small team of facilities assistants, leading efforts to enhance our processes and procedures for optimal efficiency.

Additionally, you will participate in a rota to cover Duty Management responsibilities for the estate, demonstrating confidence and capability in addressing property matters as they arise. You will be required to travel between sites to respond to various emergencies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

To excel in this role, you will need:
Relevant experience in a Business Support setting, along with supervisory responsibilities in facilities or office management Strong written and verbal communication skills A collaborative team player Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your workload with meticulous attention to detail Willingness to work under supervision while also demonstrating initiative in daily tasks Advanced IT skills and adaptability across a broad range of software applications and social media platforms A friendly and approachable demeanor
