As this position involves various responsibilities, a valid UK driving license is essential.
Weekend work may be required on a rotating basis.
Work Environment
In this role, you will report to the property operations manager and collaborate with department leaders across various areas including Welcome, Gardens, Rangers, Collections, and Programming.
This position is based at a property that serves as a working estate with visitor amenities at multiple locations. Our visitor numbers have significantly increased in recent years, making us one of the most frequented sites in the West Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be to support daily operations, utilizing a range of IT tools while working in a dynamic team environment. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of support services, including financial reporting, volunteer coordination, compliance documentation, and the creation of signage and interpretative materials. You will also manage the accounting and processing for several car parks. Being part of a busy team, your involvement will be crucial in ensuring our visitors enjoy a memorable experience.
In addition, you will oversee a small team of facilities assistants, ensuring that our operational processes and procedures are optimized for efficiency.
As part of your duties, you will participate in a rota for Duty Management, confidently addressing property-related issues as they arise. You will be required to travel between sites to handle various emergencies.
