Acute Oncology Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Acute Oncology Administrator at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Main Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Acute Oncology Team (AOT), working closely with the Lead Nurse and Consultant.
- Liaise with other administrative and clerical teams to ensure a high-quality service.
- Ensure effective and timely communication with patients and external organisations.
- Assist the AOS/RDCC team in triaging telephone calls and signposting patients where required.
- Main point of contact for Trust staff, GPs, patients, and carers following an AOS or RDCC referral.
- Provide and receive complex information relating to AOS referrals, requiring persuasive skills to secure agreement and cooperation from a wide range of Trust staff.
- Plan and organise complex activities or programmes, formulating and adjusting plans as necessary.
- Take and transcribe formal minutes, use computer software to develop reports, documents, and drawings, and maintain the AOS and RDCC referrals database.
- Participate in surveys or audits relevant to the work of the department and development of the service it provides.
