**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Clerk to the Council and Responsible Financial Officer. This is a part-time position of 15 hours per week, working from home with occasional attendance at meetings in the Parish Rooms.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage the council's administration and services for the people of Norton, Campsall, and Sutton.
  • Service council meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and compile correspondence.
  • Compile and manage accounts, as well as fulfill the statutory role of Responsible Financial Officer.
  • Undertake research, advise the council, and carry out other duties as required.

**Requirements**

  • IT literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Relevant experience in local government administration and/or holding the Certificate in Local Council Administration.
