Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer.
This is a part-time position of 15 hours per week, working from home with occasional attendance at meetings in the Parish Rooms.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the council's administration and services, including:
- Managing council meetings, agendas, and minutes
- Preparing and sending correspondence
- Compiling and filing documents
- Managing the council's finances, including accounts and budgeting
- Providing advice and guidance to the council
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant experience in local government administration
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
The salary for this position is within the NJC scale 24-28, with a starting rate of £17.16 per hour.
