Purchase Ledger Clerk Job Description

Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position.

Purchase Ledger Clerk Role:

The client is a growing logistics business based centrally in Doncaster, and they are looking to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk as a newly created role within their Finance Team, in order to separate the responsibilities between its team to improve efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage purchase ledger transactions, including invoices, credit notes, and payments.
  • Reconcile purchase ledger accounts and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports and analysis to management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in purchase ledger management. They will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
