Position Overview

The Marketing Executive will be an integral part of the Marketing team, focusing on enhancing customer acquisition and engagement across various market segments, including leisure, hotel, and events. This role encompasses a diverse range of online and offline marketing strategies, aligning with both long-term objectives and immediate business needs. The position requires collaboration within a compact team to drive lead generation, sales, and customer engagement to achieve ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and enhance website content through WordPress CMS.
  • Develop engaging weekly communications for members and monthly promotional emails for accommodations.
  • Create compelling content across all platforms, including copywriting, photography, and videography.
  • Collaborate with PR agencies to support public relations initiatives and press engagements.
  • Partner with creative agencies to execute marketing campaigns across all business sectors, ensuring clear project briefs and successful outcomes.
  • Work closely with the eCommerce Manager to implement the digital marketing strategy, including PPC, paid social media, META search, and SEO.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to produce a variety of attractive, brand-consistent printed materials.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines across all marketing materials.
  • Oversee content updates on The Lensbury Club App.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance membership engagement and increase average spend.
  • Maintain up-to-date information on club noticeboards, digital displays, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute The Lensbury's social media strategy.
  • Ensure all third-party advertising platforms are current and effectively represent The Lensbury.
  • Proactively seek and recommend new marketing opportunities.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:

  • Experience in a fast-paced marketing environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, including CMS and social media.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a high standard of written communication and design understanding.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for content development.
  • Proficiency in WordPress CMS is advantageous.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Design and copywriting skills, with knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, or Canva being desirable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and positively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Photography and videography skills are preferred.
  • Familiarity with managing online communities on social media and other digital platforms.
  • Knowledge or experience in the hospitality, leisure, or events industry is a plus.
