About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our dynamic administration team as an Administrator. This role will provide administrative support to the mental health clinical team, ensuring efficient and effective communication and administrative systems are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the clinical team, including liaison with partner agencies, patients, carers, and external referrers.
  • Manage all calls in a controlled and professional manner, dealing with difficult callers in a calm and professional manner.
  • Maintain filing in electronic records, ensuring it is kept up to date at all times, in accordance with Trust procedures.
  • Register referrals, maintain administration resulting from clinics, including appointment bookings and cancellations.
  • Provide operational support for clinical letters/correspondence using necessary computerized systems.
  • Provide administrative support to clinical staff, including consultant psychiatrists.
Requirements
  • Good command of written English.
  • RSA stage II/NVQ Level 2 in Administration or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a busy and demanding office/customer-facing environment.
  • Experience of planning and organizing own workload and of staff within own span of control.
