About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Information Governance and Records Management Officer to join our dynamic team at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide critical administrative and clerical support to the Information Governance and Records Management Department, ensuring the smooth operation of our information management systems.

Key duties will include:

  • Providing a wide range of Information Governance and Records Management functions relating to confidentiality, information sharing, and information security.
  • Processing requests for information under the Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act.
  • Providing full administrative and clerical support to the Information Governance and Records Management Department.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven administrative ability and organizational skills, preferably acquired in a health setting.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A good understanding of NHS protocols and standards for Information Governance.
