Job Summary
The Governance Lead will play a crucial role in developing and implementing quality governance processes within the Directorate to ensure a comprehensive framework for monitoring and improving the quality of care. As a member of the Directorate Senior Management Team, they will work closely with the Head of Nursing and Quality to ensure quality is an integral part of the operational and strategic aims of the Directorate.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality governance processes to ensure a comprehensive framework for monitoring and improving the quality of care.
- Work collaboratively with service users, carers, and staff to develop a framework for improving the quality of care.
- Line manage the Governance Project Officer and work closely with matrons to ensure effective governance practices.
- Provide education and training for staff on aspects of quality and processes for managing the dimensions of quality.
- Lead the Directorate in gathering evidence of compliance with CQC key lines of enquiry.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a strong background in governance and quality assurance, with experience in developing and implementing quality governance processes. They will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills, able to work collaboratively with stakeholders to drive quality improvement.
