Job Title: Charity Governance Specialist

At Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust, we are seeking a highly skilled Charity Governance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Directorate Senior Management Team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing quality governance processes to ensure excellent standards of patient and staff safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality governance processes to monitor and improve the quality of care.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Nursing and Quality to ensure quality forms an integral part of the operational and strategic aims of the Directorate.
  • Support the Governance Project Officer and work closely with matrons to ensure appropriate mechanisms exist to alert the operational senior management team to any gaps in quality.
  • Provide education and training for staff on aspects of quality and processes for managing the dimensions of quality.
  • Lead the Directorate in gathering evidence of compliance with CQC key lines of enquiry.
