Our Major Trauma Centre is recognized as a leader in the nation for survival rates. We are currently seeking dedicated Registered Nurses or Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) at Band 5 to join our advanced Theatre Suite specializing in cardiothoracic surgery at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

We are particularly interested in recruiting Scrub and Anaesthetic Practitioners with relevant experience, although all Nurses and ODPs are encouraged to submit their applications.

While we prefer candidates with theatre experience, we also welcome applications from newly qualified professionals or those new to theatre settings who can demonstrate a strong interest in becoming part of our team. Students who are expected to qualify within the next 3 to 6 months are also invited to apply.

This role offers a diverse range of experiences, allowing you to enhance your skills and knowledge in a stimulating and fulfilling environment.

Main Responsibilities

We are in search of enthusiastic and dynamic candidates who can thrive in a demanding environment and provide exceptional patient care utilizing their Scrub skill set. Our theatre department promotes a dual-role workforce.

We have full-time positions available with a variety of shifts, covering both elective and emergency procedures 24/7.
