At University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, we are the primary general surgery and CEPOD theatres serving our patients from the North Midlands region. Our comprehensive services encompass specialties such as upper GI, HPB, Bariatrics, colorectal, and plastics surgery, complemented by our outstanding 24/7 CEPOD service. We have recently been recognized for our innovative Colorectal Robot service, which provides an excellent platform for candidates to enhance their skills and advance their careers. We are eager to welcome individuals with established skills, as well as newly qualified professionals and those new to theatre settings who demonstrate a strong interest in joining our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic candidates who can thrive in a demanding environment while delivering exceptional patient care with both Anaesthetic and Scrub competencies.
  • Our theatre promotes a dual-role workforce and offers a structured preceptorship and induction program for all new staff members. Furthermore, we provide continuous professional education, development, performance appraisal, and clinical support. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with a variety of shifts covering elective and emergency sessions around the clock.
