An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Robotic Coordinator to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.
About the RoleThe Robotic Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining and building skilled robotic surgical teams and the implementation / development of the service. As an expert clinical practitioner, you will provide comprehensive advice and support within the specialism, operating across all parts of UHNM.
You will be responsible for coordinating the smooth running of the robotic operating list and supporting the team in theatre. You will also participate in utilising your skills either scrub / anaesthetics on a regular monthly basis.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and build skilled robotic surgical teams
- Implement and develop the robotic service
- Provide comprehensive advice and support within the specialism
- Coordinate the smooth running of the robotic operating list
- Support the team in theatre
- Participate in utilising your skills either scrub / anaesthetics on a regular monthly basis
- NMC registration/HPCA registration
- Minimum 3 years post registration experience
- Relevant and up to date Mentorship / Teaching qualification
- Working knowledge of Da Vinci XI robot
