About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Theatre Practitioner to join our team in Theatres 6-10, specialising in Plastics, Maxilla Facial, ENT, Ophthalmology and Paediatric Surgery.

This is a 2-year fixed-term contract, and we welcome applications from Operating Department Practitioners or Registered Nurses. Newly qualified students are also encouraged to apply.

Main Responsibilities

As a Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care from both an Anaesthetic and Scrub skill set. You will work collaboratively within a specialised theatre team, contributing to the smooth and effective running of Theatre lists and rotating through the varying specialities within the department.

You will be expected to develop and maintain your personal and professional development, with access to a structured preceptorship and induction programme, ongoing continuing professional education and development, appraisal, and clinical supervision.
