Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Robotic Coordinator to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and building skilled robotic surgical teams and the implementation of the service.

As an expert clinical practitioner, you will provide comprehensive advice and support within the specialism, operating across all parts of the trust.

Key responsibilities include coordinating the smooth running of the robotic operating list, supporting the team in theatre, and participating in utilising your skills either scrub or anaesthetics on a regular monthly basis.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate who is committed to delivering care that is safe and effective.

The post holder requires a minimum of 3 years' experience at Band 5, relevant and up-to-date mentorship/teaching qualifications, and the ability to work flexibly to cover service requirements.

Main Duties of the Job

The Robotic Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and building skilled robotic surgical teams
  • Implementing and developing the robotic service
  • Providing comprehensive advice and support within the specialism
  • Coordinating the smooth running of the robotic operating list
  • Supporting the team in theatre
  • Participating in utilising your skills either scrub or anaesthetics on a regular monthly basis
