About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Children's Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health support to children and young people, working closely with education providers and families to ensure the best possible outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health, with experience of working with children and young people, and a proven track record of delivering effective interventions. You will be a skilled communicator, able to build strong relationships with colleagues, families, and young people, and have a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health in children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality mental health support to children and young people, working closely with education providers and families.
  • Develop and deliver effective interventions, tailored to the needs of each individual.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, families, and young people, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development of the team, sharing expertise and best practice to improve outcomes for children and young people.
Requirements
  • Strong background in mental health, with experience of working with children and young people.
  • Proven track record of delivering effective interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
