About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reception Supervisor to join our team at Hilton Edinburgh Carlton. As a Reception Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the reception activities between our guests, the hotel, and various hotel departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise reception operations during assigned shifts to ensure a consistently high standard of service.
  • Ensure the reception team has a current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, and special promotional offers.
  • Advise the team of any special events or VIP guests in the hotel.
  • Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of team members, with an emphasis on training and teamwork.
  • Maximize sales revenues through up-selling and the brand loyalty program.
  • Manage guest requests, enquiries, and complaints promptly, while exceeding guest expectations.
  • Maintain the professional appearance of the reception area, with a focus on hospitality and guest service.
