We are pleased to announce an opportunity to join the Suffolk County Council's Business Support Ipswich South and West Multi Agency Team as a Business Support Officer . In this role, you will collaborate closely with Social Workers and Practitioners to provide essential support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively within a team to deliver administrative, telephonic, and financial assistance to Social Workers, Practitioners, and Managers.
- Manage business processes and procedures, including taking minutes during statutory meetings.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and specialized database applications on a daily basis.
- Assist in monitoring various budgets in accordance with established procedures set by line managers.
- Provide reliable and supportive responses to customer inquiries.
- Maintain a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to data protection regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Proficient note-taking or minute-taking skills.
- Demonstrated experience in a variety of office and financial procedures.
- Flexibility to adapt to diverse needs and priorities.
- Ability to contribute positively to team dynamics.
- Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
