This essential position plays a vital role in ensuring peak building functionality, effectively supervising maintenance teams, and enhancing operational productivity in a high-stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute thorough preventative maintenance strategies for HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire safety, elevators, infrastructure, and other essential services, guaranteeing optimal functionality and dependability.
  • Perform comprehensive inspections to proactively detect and swiftly resolve potential maintenance concerns, minimizing disruptions.
  • Effectively oversee and coordinate scheduled maintenance, repairs, and urgent requests to reduce operational interruptions.
  • Provide guidance and support to the maintenance personnel, cultivating a culture of high performance through impactful training and development programs.
  • Work closely with facility management and relevant stakeholders to synchronize maintenance activities with operational needs.
  • Identify, manage, and assess third-party service providers to enhance service delivery and achieve cost efficiency.
  • Keep meticulous records of maintenance tasks, work orders, equipment history, and related expenses to enable effective monitoring and analysis.
  • Continuously refine maintenance procedures to boost efficiency and lower operational costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and organizational policies to uphold a secure working environment.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, innovative technologies, and best practices in facilities management to promote ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Facilities Management or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated success as a Facilities Operations Manager within the real estate sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of building systems, equipment, and maintenance best practices.
  • Outstanding leadership and team management capabilities, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive mindset for tackling maintenance issues.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software and CAFM systems to optimize operations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering effective relationships with stakeholders.
