Job Description

Job Title: Facilities Administrator

Job Summary:

Innovus is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilities Management: Direct, coordinate and plan essential services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure buildings meet health and safety requirements and facilities comply with legislation. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the safety of customers, contractors and colleagues.
  • Contract Management: Check that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and follow up on any deficiencies.
  • Performance Management: Use performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement.
  • Emergency Response: Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and deal with the consequences.
  • Compliance: Maintain full compliance with the company and client Health and Safety Policy. Report any breaches of H&S to Line Management and report all accidents and near misses in line with Company Policy.
  • Team Leadership: Offer strong team leadership, inspiring the site team to deliver high service delivery. Daily management of contractors in accordance with site processes.
  • IT and Operations: Understand IT procedures in relation to the post of Facilities Manager. Be fully conversant with site manuals, operating procedures, and operation of the communal M&E items.
  • Emergency Procedures: Awareness of approved company policies in relation to lift emergencies, specifically the release of trapped passengers.
