Your Role: Driving International Growth

As the VP of Global Expansion, you will play a pivotal role in shaping FutureLearn's international presence. You will lead strategic initiatives to expand our reach into new markets, cultivate partnerships with key stakeholders, and foster a thriving global learning community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global expansion strategy aligned with FutureLearn's mission and vision.
  • Identify and evaluate promising international markets based on market potential, regulatory landscape, and cultural factors.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in target markets, including educational institutions, government agencies, and industry leaders.
  • Lead the development of localized content and marketing campaigns to resonate with diverse learner populations.
  • Oversee the establishment of operational infrastructure and partnerships in new markets to ensure seamless delivery of learning experiences.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure a cohesive and integrated global approach.

  • Proven track record of success in international business development and expansion within the education or technology sectors.
  • Deep understanding of global market dynamics, cultural nuances, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
