About the Role

Grosvenor Casinos is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team in Plymouth. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for managing the finances of the club, ensuring accurate accounting for all transactions, and adhering to all gambling regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acknowledge and welcome customers at the Cash Desk, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Live our values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility, and Solutions, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in all aspects of your work.
  • Collaborate with the cash desk and wider casino team to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Comply with all company procedures and regulations, including the Gambling Act and its regulations, to maintain the reputation of the company.
  • Recommend the loyalty program to customers, promoting a positive and engaging experience.
  • Support with cash and asset counts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain thorough records and accounts of all operations in the cash desk, adhering to the cash desk manual and requests from the head cashier.
  • Report to the head cashier, providing regular updates and insights.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
  • Knowledge of financial procedures and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
