About The Role
Grosvenor Casino, a leading gaming and leisure operator, is seeking a skilled Cashier to join their team. As a key member of the cash desk, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of the club, ensuring accurate accounting and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Acknowledge and assist customers at the cash desk, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience.
- Live the company's values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility, and Solutions, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in all aspects of your work.
- Collaborate with the cash desk and wider casino team to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Comply with all company procedures and regulations, including the Gambling Act and its associated codes of practice.
- Recommend the loyalty program to customers, promoting a culture of customer engagement and retention.
- Support with cash and asset counts, maintaining accurate records and accounts as required.
- Report to the head cashier, providing regular updates and insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
- Holds a PFL license or can apply for one from the Gambling Commission.
- Demonstrates strong numeracy skills, with the ability to manage large sums of cash accurately.
- Experience in a cashier or accounts role is ideal, but not essential.
- Has a basic understanding of legislation related to the cash desk function, with a willingness to learn and develop this knowledge further.
- Is able to work shifts at any time of the day, including weekends and bank holidays.
