Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing a full cashiering service to the Trust, working within the Standing Financial Instructions and Procedures.

Main Responsibilities

  • Authorise the reimbursement of patients' travelling expenses, keeping records up to date, and verify the eligibility of each claimant, in accordance with Trust guidelines and Government legislation.
  • Act as initial escalation to disputes regarding entitlement of travelling expenses, escalating to Treasury Team Leader or PALS where relevant.
  • Issue Rail Warrants to patients and record as per Trust guidelines.

Person Specification

Essential
