Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our dynamic team at the Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing holistic, person-centred care to individuals with severe and enduring mental illnesses.

Our team is dedicated to transforming community mental health services, providing access to a combination of support to improve well-being and quality of life. We strive to prevent mental health crises and ensure that anyone in need has access to the right care at the right time in their own community.

As a Clinical Support Worker, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, psychiatric nurses, therapists, psychologists, and consultant psychiatrists, to deliver a range of therapeutic interventions and other aspects of the service user's care plan.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions and support to individuals with mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Provide person-centred care and support to individuals, promoting independence and well-being
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service user-centred care initiatives

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual with the following skills and experience:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Basic risk and mental health assessment
  • Record keeping
