About the Role

Mitchell Maguire is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager - Luxury Wallcoverings to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling a high-quality manufactured range of luxury wallcoverings to the residential market sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage existing accounts with architects, interior designers, specialist retailers, and contractors.
  • Generate new business opportunities and expand our customer base.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, with an average order value of circa £6,000.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Attend networking events and industry conferences to build relationships and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Requirements
  • Proven experience selling luxury interior building products, such as wallcoverings, fabrics, surfaces, curtains, window covers, textiles, tiles, furniture, rugs, blinds, upholstery, and high-end flooring.
  • A strong network of contacts within the industry, with a willingness to attend networking events.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A stable career history, with a proven track record of success in sales.
  • High energy levels and a drive to succeed, with a self-sufficient and proactive approach to work.
