Job Title: Medicines Management Lead

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Medicines Management Lead. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing leadership and working closely with the Matron to enhance nursing practice and strategy. This will involve managing the department, ensuring 24-hour cover for the service, and facilitating evidence-based care at ward level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing leadership and work with the Matron to enhance nursing practice and strategy
  • Manage the department and be responsible for ensuring 24-hour cover for the service
  • Facilitate evidence-based care and act as a clinical expert at ward level
  • Support and implement changes to clinical practice in the area
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on patient care, proven leadership skills, and the ability to work inter-professionally across boundaries. They will also need to demonstrate excellent clinical skills and be able to support junior colleagues in their development.
