About the Organization
Our client is a prominent charity dedicated to supporting kinship care in England and Wales. They provide essential financial, legal, practical, and emotional assistance to kinship carers, ensuring they receive the necessary support from the outset and for as long as required. Their expert guidance aids families in navigating complex and often stressful decisions.

Role Overview

Prospectus is excited to assist our client in finding an outstanding Programme Manager to spearhead a pioneering national Kinship Care Training and Support initiative. This service is designed to empower kinship carers through a variety of workshops and training sessions, both online and in-person, alongside enhanced resources available on a dedicated support hub.


Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Report directly to the Chief Executive, collaborating closely with the Executive Team, delivery partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead the strategic planning and reporting processes to ensure the successful execution of a high-quality service that aligns with the needs of kinship carers.
  • Oversee the project to ensure it is delivered within budget and on schedule.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience in managing complex programmes with multiple components and stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of methodologies for effective planning, monitoring, and controlling of programmes.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a proven track record of fostering collaboration across various departments and with diverse partners.
  • Experience in programme governance, service design, stakeholder engagement, and evaluation.
