The RED Group is seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Administrator to join their team. As a Mortgage Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial services business in processing mortgage applications.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in a small, friendly team that offers a great working environment. The hourly rate is circa £12 and hours are approximately 20 per week, which can be flexed to suit the successful candidate.

The Mortgage Administrator duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Liaising with clients, mortgage advisers, lenders, solicitors, and estate agents to ensure smooth mortgage application processing.
  • Processing new applications in preparation for lenders/underwriters, including data input and verification.
  • General administration duties, including dealing with inbound and outbound post and file scanning.
  • Other ad hoc administrative duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in the financial services industry.
  • Mortgage processing experience.
  • Strong customer service skills and a good telephone manner.
  • Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • IT literacy and the ability to quickly pick up new systems and procedures.
  • The CEMAP qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
