Racing Operations Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Tote Assistant. As a key member of our racing operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our betting terminals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our betting products and services.
- Provide accurate and efficient betting transactions for customers, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Manage cash transactions, ensuring accurate handling and reconciliation of monies.
- Verify customer identities to prevent underage betting and ensure compliance with Challenge 21 policy.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and welcoming environment for customers.
- Stay up-to-date with company guidelines and regulations, including those related to vulnerable persons and money laundering.
- Contribute to a culture of excellence, ensuring high-quality customer service and a seamless betting experience.
About You:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong time management skills, ensuring timely completion of tasks and meeting deadlines.
