About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Operations Manager Assistant to join our team at Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe. As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting our branch team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide proactive support to customers, understanding their needs and providing expert advice and solutions to deliver a positive experience.
  • Sales Performance: Drive sales performance for the branch, getting to know our product lines and services to make the most of all customer interactions.
  • Team Leadership: Act as first line support to the Branch Manager, leading and supporting the team to deliver success and suggest opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Market Knowledge: Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth and develop great relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Operational Excellence: Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey.
  • Health and Safety: Lead the team to make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how to keep yourself and others safe at work.
