Commercial Director Job Description

Magicard by Brady is seeking a seasoned Commercial Director to lead our sales growth and market penetration in EMEA and APAC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving our commercial strategy, defining where to compete and how, setting long-term commercial goals, and identifying growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive sales growth and market penetration in EMEA and APAC.
  • Lead Magicard's next-generation products to the market, leveraging data to fuel decision-making in sales, marketing, and pricing.
  • Manage sales personnel within EMEA/APAC, driving new business through distributors and direct to end-users.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering/R&D, and Marketing, to deliver a joined-up cohesive approach to the market.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of international B2B sales leadership experience, ideally in the label/card printing, telephony, Point of Sale, hand-held scanners, smart devices, or office A/V equipment sectors.
  • Experience of selling through distributors/resellers and leading international expansion.
  • Additional experience of working in or with a B2B marketing function.
  • A hunger for growth and a comfortable level of regular travel to the Magicard site in Weymouth and across the territory to meet colleagues, clients, and partners.
