The Product Marketing Manager will oversee the product strategy from inception to execution, focusing on positioning, lifecycle management, and market entry strategies. You will facilitate new product development and implement pricing and promotional strategies grounded in data-driven insights and marketing best practices.

You will become a key authority on the organization’s brand, products, and services, leading new product launches through effective project management and market execution while monitoring performance post-launch.

Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing:

Lead product initiatives from market opportunity evaluation to execution, including the development of business cases, market research, and support plans.

  • Identify and implement strategic themes to enhance competitive positioning and highlight key product strengths.
  • Craft compelling product marketing messages and unique selling propositions that distinguish the brand and its offerings.
  • Deliver high-quality copywriting, product positioning, and messaging, while assisting in the creation of visual product assets.

Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Analyze market trends, conduct competitor assessments, and track product performance to inform category reviews and product strategy.
  • Manage and optimize the product portfolio to create strategies that address market gaps and needs.
  • Evaluate performance data to develop effective pricing and promotional tactics.

Product Development:

  • Serve as the product subject matter expert, leveraging insights into product capabilities, customer requirements, and competitive landscape to inform new product development.
  • Design and implement go-to-market strategies for new products, focusing on messaging and market positioning.
  • Collaborate with product management teams to establish timelines for product development and launch activities.
  • Present products to internal teams and stakeholders, utilizing market research to guide pricing strategies.
  • Manage projects and execute go-to-market content creation, including the copywriting of essential marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with global markets to develop product launch and promotional activities, sharing best practices and ensuring compliance.
  • Oversee post-launch tracking and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in product-specific marketing, including the development of go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
  • Proficient in market segmentation, competitive positioning, and unique selling proposition development.
  • Demonstrated success in managing marketing campaigns from conception to execution.
  • Proven experience in launching products and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to manage timelines and milestones effectively.
  • Exceptional skills in creating scalable marketing content.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment.
