The Product Marketing Manager will oversee the product strategy from inception to execution, focusing on positioning, lifecycle management, and market entry strategies. This role will involve supporting the development of new products and formulating pricing and promotional strategies grounded in data analysis and marketing best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing:

  • Lead product initiatives from market analysis to execution, including the development of business cases, market research, and support plans.
  • Identify and implement strategic themes to enhance competitive positioning and promote awareness of product strengths and differentiators.
  • Develop compelling product marketing messages and unique selling propositions that distinguish the brand and its offerings in the marketplace.
  • Produce effective copywriting, product positioning, and messaging, while assisting in the creation of visual product assets.

Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Analyze market trends, conduct competitor assessments, and evaluate product performance to inform category reviews and product strategy.
  • Manage and monitor the product portfolio to devise strategies that address market gaps and fulfill customer needs.
  • Assess performance data to implement suitable pricing and promotional tactics.

Product Development:

  • Become the subject matter expert on products, leveraging insights into capabilities, customer requirements, and the competitive landscape to inform effective market strategies and new product development.
  • Design and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, focusing on messaging and market positioning.
  • Collaborate with product management teams to establish timelines and deadlines for product development and launch activities.
  • Present products to internal teams and clients, discussing sales strategies and utilizing market research to determine pricing.
  • Manage projects and execute go-to-market content creation, including key marketing asset copywriting.
  • Engage with global markets to develop product launch and promotional activities, sharing best practices and ensuring compliance.
  • Oversee post-launch tracking and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in product-specific marketing, including the creation of go-to-market strategies for both new and existing products.
  • Proficiency in market segmentation, competitive positioning, and unique selling proposition development.
  • Demonstrated experience managing marketing campaigns from conception to completion.
  • Proven success in executing product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Strong project management capabilities with a focus on timelines and milestones.
  • Excellent skills in creating scalable marketing content.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
