About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Poundstretcher. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive a high level of service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Sales Performance: Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities, implementing strategies to drive sales growth and meet targets.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a team of retail professionals to achieve store objectives, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that all company standards are implemented and maintained, including health and safety, stock management, and visual merchandising.
  • Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, ensuring that the store is fully stocked and that inventory is accurately recorded.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and control store expenses, ensuring that the store operates within budget and that financial targets are met.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of delivering sales growth and improving customer service.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
