Position Overview

As a Retail Store Manager Trainee, you will be at the forefront of leading and motivating your team to deliver outstanding customer experiences, achieve business goals, and foster a workplace culture that encourages growth and success. Key Responsibilities of a Retail Store Manager Trainee:
  • Directing and inspiring your team to uphold high standards and achieve results aligned with the operational strategy.
  • Establishing a supportive environment that promotes learning, recognition, and personal development, ensuring every team member feels valued and included.
  • Taking an active role in supporting your team, setting clear and measurable objectives, and regularly reviewing performance to ensure accountability.
  • Collaborating with corporate teams to leverage local insights for maximizing community engagement and business opportunities.
  • Implementing a comprehensive talent management strategy, including succession planning and development initiatives for all team members.
  • Keeping your team informed about store performance metrics and encouraging discussions on potential improvements.
  • Instilling a sense of pride in the store environment, ensuring that both employee and customer areas are maintained to high standards and comply with safety regulations.
What We Look For:
  • Experience as a Store Manager or in a similar role within a dynamic retail environment, preferably with multi-site management experience.
  • Ability to energize, influence, and motivate store teams to achieve exceptional service and performance outcomes.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced retail setting.
  • Experience managing the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
  • Proven track record in developing team members, fostering a productive, inclusive, and supportive workplace.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of effectively communicating and influencing team members, peers, and senior management.
