AHU Service Engineer Job Description

Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking a skilled AHU Service Engineer to provide technical support to our clients and their engineering teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and commissioning AHU and HVAC systems across various contracts, including banks, insurance companies, data centers, and gyms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance, repair, and commissioning of AHU and HVAC systems.
  2. Providing technical support to clients and fellow engineers.
  3. Ensuring all Health and Safety obligations are met and coordinated with the project delivery team.
  4. Coordinating with the project delivery management team and liaising with planners.

Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of HVAC/AHU and service, fault finding, and commissioning.
  • City and Guilds 2079 or City and Guilds/NVQ 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
  • Electrical qualifications - desirable but not essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to pass or hold a DBS and security clearance.

Benefits:

  • Salary £45k-55k based on experience.
  • 50-hour contract, with 10 hours paid travel and 40 hours site time.
  • Additionally, travel outside the 50 hours is paid at 1.5x.
  • Overtime: 1.5x Mon-Sat, 2x Sun/Bank Holidays.

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays - option to purchase up to 5 more days.
