About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal VFX Artist to join our Survival Team at Creative Assembly. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a sequel to Alien: Isolation, creating high-quality and performant visuals that meet our art direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-quality, real-time visual effects in Unreal Engine 5
  • Collaborate with other project disciplines to develop and maintain an efficient pipeline
  • Utilize 3D software (Autodesk Maya or 3ds Max) and image manipulation tools (Adobe Photoshop/Substance Designer) to create stunning visuals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in real-time game development
  • Contribute to the development of our game engine and tools
Requirements
  • Commercial experience with Unreal Engine 5
  • Ability to create and implement world-class real-time visuals
  • Knowledge of Houdini and its use in real-time game VFX
  • Familiarity with data management software
  • Love of games and passion for game development
