About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Partnerships Officer to join our Income Generation team at St Catherine's Hospice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspiring and engaging high-value individual supporters, legacy pledgers, members, and major donor prospects to develop relationships that sustainably support our strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective stewardship and cultivation strategies to build strong relationships with our supporters.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities for income generation, including major gifts, legacies, and corporate partnerships.
  • Work closely with our fundraising team to develop and deliver targeted fundraising campaigns.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to our donors and supporters, ensuring that their needs are met and their experiences are exceptional.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to engage our supporters and promote our work.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience of donor or customer care, with a track record of building strong relationships with individuals at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others to give of their time, money, and expertise.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to change and innovation.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail and a high standard of diplomacy and integrity.
  • Experience of using customer relationship management (CRM) systems, preferably Raisers Edge.
