Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Partnerships Officer to join our Income Generation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspiring and engaging high-value individual supporters, legacy pledgers, members, and major donor prospects to develop relationships that sustainably support our strategic priorities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective stewardship strategies to build strong relationships with key supporters.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities for partnerships and collaborations that align with our strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the organization to ensure seamless delivery of partnerships and fundraising initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of supporter interactions, including meetings, correspondence, and donations.
  • Contribute to the development of fundraising campaigns and events, including planning, execution, and evaluation.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in donor engagement, stewardship, and partnerships development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with supporters, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to change and innovation.
  • Knowledge of fundraising principles, practices, and regulations, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant qualifications in fundraising, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience of working with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, such as Raisers Edge.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and databases.
