Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Partnerships Officer to join our Income Generation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with high-value individual supporters, legacy pledgers, members, and major donor prospects. Your primary objective will be to inspire and engage these stakeholders to support St Catherine's strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective strategies to engage and retain high-value supporters, ensuring their needs are met and their relationships with St Catherine's are nurtured.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including legacy pledgers, members, and major donor prospects, to secure financial support for St Catherine's.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to identify opportunities for growth and development, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach to income generation.
- Develop and deliver impactful stewardship, face-to-face meetings, and cultivation events to engage and inspire supporters.
- Work closely with the fundraising team to identify and pursue new opportunities for income generation, ensuring a strong and sustainable pipeline of support.
Person Specification
We are looking for an individual with:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.Proven experience in donor or customer care, with a track record of securing financial income and developing effective relationships with supporters.Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Ability to work calmly under pressure and deliver results to a high standard.Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work occasional unsociable hours when required.Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant sales, marketing, or fundraising qualification, such as from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising or Corndel.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.
- Full driving license and access to a vehicle for business use.
- Previous experience of using a customer relationship or donor management database, such as Raisers Edge.
- Experience of working with volunteers and securing five-figure gifts.
