Our Current Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Manager to join our team at Chartway Living, based in our offices in the UK. Chartway Living specialises in the investment and development across the UK Living Sector, including Single Family Rental (SFR), Build to Rent (BTR), and Senior Living.

About the Role

As our Development Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the development and processes of SFR Development and Land Promotion. You will work directly with the Head of SFR, supporting in the delivery of development projects. You will generate new business and seek out suitable SFR sites, land promotion opportunities, delivering sites from inception, through planning, and to completion & hand over.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage external consultants and advisors
  • Liaise with investors
  • Manage complex budgets
  • Help create & set up relevant departmental processes

Requirements

You will have previous experience in a similar role, with excellent IT skills, a strong understanding of development appraisal and planning application submissions, and excellent organisational and communication skills.
