About the Role
The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Officer/Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, while also ensuring the smooth operation of our reception areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient flow and check-in processes, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and visitors.
- Provide administrative support to our clinical teams, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.
- Respond to patient inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with our booking and scheduling team to ensure accurate and efficient appointment management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and administrative data.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably in a reception or administrative role.
- Knowledge of patient administrative systems and data entry procedures.
