Administrative Support Coordinator for Training Hub

Position Overview

This role involves providing essential administrative assistance within the NHS framework, specifically supporting the Training Hub Services dedicated to enhancing training and educational offerings for GP practices. The position is primarily office-based, with potential for flexible working arrangements for suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive administrative support to the Training Hub Project Officers and the broader Training Hub team.
  • Ensure a high standard of clerical support, fostering a client-focused service that enhances customer satisfaction and promotes effective collaboration within the Suffolk and North East Essex Training Hub and Primary Care.
  • Communicate pertinent information to managers, colleagues, and stakeholders through both verbal and written channels as necessary.
  • Handle routine inquiries from colleagues and stakeholders, escalating issues to the appropriate team member when required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in the role.

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential:

  • Achieved a minimum of Grade C/level 4 in GCSEs English and Maths, or a commitment to undertake functional skills in these subjects as part of the apprenticeship.
  • A willingness to pursue further education, specifically a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration or Customer Service, with a commitment to completing the apprenticeship in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and website management.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of NHS services and operations.
  • Experience in an office environment, potentially gained through previous work experience.

Communication Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Proficiency in IT applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
